'You've got to be kidding me': Maryland woman gets a ticket for driving 63 mph — in a 65 zone
Tue Mar 12, 2013
Yeah if she was going 63 in a 65 zone when she got pulled over, she was essentially going the speed limit. seriously, 2mph difference? The cop is telling her to break the limit by speeding. If she doesn't speed, she gets a ticket. If speeding is what he wants her to do, he needs to re-adjust the "li …
12-year-old boy who was victim of bullying attack dies after weeks in hospital
Mon Mar 4, 2013
I'm surprised they are waiting off to "see if the injuries from the fight caused the seizures". It seems pretty straight-forward to me: they gave him a concussion. Did he have seizures before? Doesn't sound like it. Even if the answer was yes, it would not explain why those he suffered now cost him …
Police: Connecticut firefighters accused in sex slavery case
Fri Mar 1, 2013
These guys should be locked up so they can not hurt other children. However, the title is misleading: a "sex slave" is someone who was kidnapped and forced to have sex just to stay alive under their captors (with no pay or "gifts" in exchange). The guys experimented with a little BDSM with a teenage …
Man sues parents for not loving him enough
Sat Feb 23, 2013
At 32 years of age, he is right there on the line: not quite gen x, not quite millennials.
Chatty Cathy, listen up: New study reveals why women talk more than men
Thu Feb 21, 2013
This was so NOT true in my family. I think it paints a generalization in people's heads when they read it is true that they picture it being true. I certainly would have guessed the opposite. My brother is the most extroverted person I've ever met. My mother is conversely very quiet.
Hospital granted dad's request: no black nurses, lawsuit says
Tue Feb 19, 2013
Poor baby! ALL of them! Even the real baby. So what happens if the hospital said "no" to the request but then the charge nurse heard about the racist request so she drops his baby on it's head?
Woman allegedly bites off piece of boyfriend's tongue after Valentine's dispute
Mon Feb 18, 2013
I agree with Solymnar. No adult has any right to handle a situation this way. If the man is being a dolt and refusing to leave, she should call the police. If he forces his tongue down her throat, she should slap him hard and shove him away. These are actions I can agree with, if he really is being …
$1 million lottery winner fatally poisoned by cyanide
Tue Jan 8, 2013
He wins the million dollar jackpot then dies the very next day of natural causes. Sure; makes complete sense.
Profanity-laced YouTube video gets officer fired
Fri Jan 4, 2013
Listen to Mommy. They should never have sworn at her sweet baby. Any adult who loses it with her precious angel, and let's their true sentiments slip out the tongue, should immediately lose their job, whether they be a teacher, a coach, a schoolbus driver, or a police officer.
Outrage after video shows China teacher abusing kindergarteners
Thu Oct 25, 2012
My mother was a major bully too; just like this. She used to complain to us that teachers were lazy and they got paid too much. Then she'd suggest maybe she should become a schoolteacher. We always begged her to do it because we figured maybe then she'd finally get caught hitting children people car …

Are Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang too mean for today's kids? Good grief!
No
Parents debate whether it's OK to let kids pee in public
No! It's just not right.
When I was a tot, there were no pull-ups, I did not take any "nature pees", and I still had no accidents when travelling around town with my mother. Wonder what my mom did differently? Other than make sure I always used the restroom before we left any place to go to a new place (starting at home whe …
I used to live in San Francisco. Every single guy who peed or deficated on the sidewalk there was well over 15 years old. And this was a constant, constant, constant, and very gross, problem.
Exactly. My mom's final question to her children every time they left the house was "do you need to go use the potty?" and then we would always say "no" and she would reply "yes you do, now go and use it, or we won't be going anywhere". She stuck by that too. We couldn't insist we did not need to go …
Hi Rap, thanks for a little common sense. My mother never let me pee in public. That was only stuff I could do in a restroom stall or private bathroom. Yet I never had an accident when I was with my mother. Don't know why that is but it might have had something to do with her ingrained ritual that I …
